Welcome to 2026!

As our other favorite blog reminds us, the New Year is a time to pause and reflect as well as look forward.

One of my big learnings this last year writing here at Albert’s Learning Log was seeing what topics I’m most interested in and which topics seemed to be most helpful to others. My summary:

  • Self Leadership

Although I feel the term “self leadership” can be misunderstood in many ways, it is generally the official category that a lot of my writing fits into. Here’s how I would define it:

  • Self Leadership = taking responsibility for adjusting your own actions, mindset, or ways you relate to the world to make important changes.

Below is a little summary of where we went together last year on this blog, which can serve as a refresher or encouragement to click through if you missed one of the articles.

Looking Forward

2025 was a great year for getting back into a semi-regular writing rhythm. I’ve got a few big ideas for where I want to go with this website this year. But I can’t really say what those ideas are, can I?

Thanks again to everyone who faithfully reads and reacts. Feedback helps fuel my motivation to keep the articles a-flowin’!
